The Emmy Award which is often referred to simply as the Emmy, is a television production award. The award is popular among Hollywood stars and focuses on entertainment sectors such as entertainment programming, sports programming, news and documentary shows.  The Emmy Award is held annually and on January 30th, the winners were announced for the Midsouth Awards.  Among the recipients was 25 yr old Belizean video producer Joel Evans.  Evans received the award under the entertainment category for editing of the music video "I WONT LET MY GUARD DOWN".  Joel Evans is the younger brother of Belizean recording Artist "Mikal" Evans.  He has directed two of Mikals' current three videos, and has produced a new one which is schedule to be released in March of 2010.
