Sacred Heart College in San Ignacio Town was the proud recipient of a set of brass musical instruments. This occurred on Monday February 1st at a special assembly where His Excellency, The Governor General of Belize, Sir Colville presented the instruments to compliment the school's music program. Eve Aird is the President of Sacred Heart College. Aird also said the Governor General’s visit to the school and donation of instruments comes at an important point in the school’s history as they are celebrating the school’s 50th Anniversary this year. Currently, Sacred Heart College has a population of more than one thousand two hundred students at both high school and junior college levels.
