No vaccinations are required for entry to Belize, however insect repellent is strongly advised since cases of dengue fever and malaria have occurred. Potable water is available in most areas of Belize. Different areas of Belize have different qualities of tap water. In Belmopan the tap water is high in minerals and not recommended for drinking. Rain water is good for drinking but if in doubt drink boiled water or bottled water - available in many different sizes.
